Disrupting Mobility Global Summit and Hackathon is taking place November 6-13, 2015 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA

Sign up to take part in the Hackathon themed on Urban Autonomous Delivery” and learn from mobility experts from around the globe.


Disrupting Mobility will bring together around 350 mobility experts from different continents. The program will tackle current trends in mobility by attracting thought leaders from companies, governments and academia. The event includes:

  • Multi-track sessions that foster controversial discussions
  • Insights from other industries
  • A hackathon for those who rather act than talk
  • High-class networking events

The Global Summit is taking place from November 11-13, and will include a speaker’s list, breakout sessions, poster sessions, and networking times.


The Disrupting Mobility Hackathon 2015 will take place November 6-8. The theme is “Urban Autonomous Delivery,” and will ask participants to focus on the following 6 topics:

  1. Moving people (Seniors, people without a driver’s license, drunk drivers, distracted drivers)
  2. Small packages (max. 17.88″ x 12.38″ x 3″, e.g., Electronics/Books/small Furniture)
  3. Food & Beverages (Fit to temperature requirements)
  4. City Services (Garbage collection, street cleaning, street maintenance, parking tickets)
  5. Medical Services (Focus on safety, cleanliness)
  6. Disaster/Emergency Handling (Fire, Police, natural disasters)

A team’s creative output could be in the form of mock-ups, working prototypes, virtual models (animation, video), graphics (renderings, infographics), simulation models, business and operational models. Hackathon kits will be provided during the event to assist you in your projects. Participants are welcome to bring any additional hardware, software, or other materials and components to the Hackathon.  This hackathon is open to university students and professionals. Winners of the hackathon will be awarded prizes at the end of the event and will be given the opportunity to make a short presentation during the Disrupting Mobility Summit on November 12th.
