IndiaSpend is a data dissemination initiative. It is an attempt at highlighting the growing popularity of our original data-driven efforts in an ever expanding digital medium based on the quantitative analytical information. There is a need and an opportunity to focus on critical data that can help the country at large to take objective views on important policy issues. This will become more important in coming years as citizens become a more active part of the governance process. In coming days, the use of data will be the first recourse for young India, rather than opinion.
