Transportation & Behavioral Sciences Summer Internship

Conveyal is offering a full-time paid summer internship for students interested in the application of behavioral psychology in changing transportation decisions and outcomes.  As an intern you will contribute to the development of software tools that re-imagine demand-side transportation management. You will work with a team of software developers and behavior change experts to examine how successes from other fields can be applied to the transportation sector. Your work will help shape our research methods and provide direct inputs to product design.

They are looking for graduate or advanced undergraduate students with a demonstrated interested in behavioral psychology or behavioral economics. An interest in urban planning, transportation policy, software development or human-computer interaction are pluses.
The internship will be based in Washington, DC. The exact schedule and location are flexible but a minimum commitment of ten weeks, full-time is expected.
