SMART celebrates a continuing partnership with the OECD’s International Transport Forum (ITF) and continuing participation in their Promising Transport Innovation Award 2015.
The summit brings together Ministers from 54 ITF member countries and more than 20 invited countries along with business leaders, senior representatives of international organizations and leading researchers and academics from transport-related disciplines.
The Promising Transport Innovation award recognizes an innovation that has the potential to significantly improve the transport industry. The innovation can be a technological change, an operational change (e.g. business process), or and organizational change (e.g. business model) or even a combination. The innovation must have either received financial or regulatory approval for implementation or be in early implementation phase (less than 2 years).
Winners of the award are honoured at ITF’s Annual Summit in late May in Leipzig, Germany. Read More about the ITF Summit.
