Sept 23: Applications due for the Global Automotive & Mobility Innovation Challenge (GAMIC)

Apply your mobility innovation to receive a cash award, tech-business presentation grooming and scaling support.

SAE InternationalMI Innovation Alliance, and NextEnergy have announced the 9th Annual Global Automotive & Mobility Innovation Challenge (GAMIC). This award is for global innovators that can impact mobility or personal transportation in a big way.

Online application process is open through Sept 23.

Qualifying Entry Guidelines

  • Entries should be innovations based on automotive content (hardware or software on the vehicle), vehicle design process aids (better or faster), or vehicle production enablers.
  • Target innovations are limited to driver-driven, land-based vehicles, as well as vehicle/infrastructure communications.
  • Applicants can be pre-revenue or have cumulative sales up to $250,000 (Student and University Teams are welcomed).

Winners will receive more than $200,000 worth of business commercialization acceleration services and cash will be awarded to four overall winners. Several past winners have secured customer/partner contracts and raised over $10 million of dollars in growth funding.
